Elections 2008: forums, debates, candidate events

* Judicial selection issues forum Temple Israel         Wednesday, September 17, 7 – 9 pm.  2324 Emerson Avenue South, Minneapolis.  In cooperation with WATCH and the Hennepin County Bar Association. 

* Judicial candidates forum Hennepin County Bar Association office, Monday, September 22, 12 - 2 p.m.         600 Nicollet Mall, Suite 390.  In collaboration with HCBA and WATCH. NOTE: This date has changed from the previous date, October 7.

* Finding Common Ground to End Homelessness Golden Valley City Hall Council Conference Room (second floor), Saturday, September 27, 9:30 - 11:30 am.        7800 Golden Valley Road. 

*  Meet the Candidates VotesMart event at Shout! Thursday, October 2, 5 – 8 pm in Block E., 600 Hennepin Avenue.  Fundraiser for LWVMpls $10 entry ($7 is tax deductible).

* Voter registration drive Thursday, October 2 from 11:00 - 2:00, at Central Library, YWCA on Nicollet Mall, and at 9th and Nicollet Mall.
