What happens when a political ideology seeks to merge Christian identity with American identity? This session will explore Christian nationalism as a political ideology and cultural framework, including ideas about what defines a “true Christian”, dark money networks and support for political violence. Jerry will discuss its overlap with white supremacy, racial injustice and male domination, and the implications for democracy and the Constitution.
